Delta State University, also known as DELSU, has announced the sale of her pre-degree admission form for the new academic session at the sum of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira). The pre-degree program is for candidates who meet specific qualifications and prepares students for admission into DELSU’s first-year degree programs, with the exception of medicine and law.
I’ve been able to help a friend register for this pre-degree program with the close guidance I got from schoolcafe’s WhatsApp community, and it turned out to be pretty straight forward. So, I’ll also do well to share this seamless process with you as well!
Before you apply, make sure to confirm if you meet all requirements. The last thing you want is paying for a form when you’re not eligible!
Step 1. Visit DELSU’s Portal
The first thing I did was to use my browser to open DELSU’s official portal. That’s your starting point, which is the official website where the process begins.
Step 2. Start Your Application
I clicked on “Apply for Admission” first, then looked for the “Pre-Degree Program” option. Make sure you are not clicking on the wrong program to avoid issues.
You can find more pre-degree program options from the List of Delsu Pre-degree Courses Available to Study in 2025/2026 written by Victor Ijomah.
Step 3. Complete and Submit the Form
Here’s where you will take your time to fill in every detail carefully and avoid mistakes. I double-checked everything before submitting, making sure I did not forget any important information.
Step 4. Print Your PIN
After submitting, you’ll get your PIN. Make sure you print multiple copies. I printed three: one for the bank, one for home records, and one extra just in case.
Pro Tip: Keep your virtual pin safe; you’ll need it throughout the application process.
Step 5. Make Payment
This is where my journey to the bank begins. There are multiple banks that will be approved by the university for payment purposes; some of them will be listed below.
- Ecobank
- Unity Bank
- Fidelity Bank
- UBA
- Zenith Bank
